We get you the support you need for your loved one

IEP ADVOCACY

At Bridge the Gap Consulting we aim to keep the final decision in your child’s education in your hands. We provide information about your rights under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and NJ state regulations to make sure you and your child’s rights are being protected.

PARENT EDIFICATION

Were you just given a diagnosis for Autism? Have you had the diagnosis for a bit and unsure what to do? At Bridge the Gap we provide parent edification and training for what to do after receiving a diagnosis, how to navigate finding an ABA service, and what your rights are while receiving those services.

Grow their confidence inside and outside the classroom

IEP meetings can be daunting if you are unsure what your rights are. At Bridge the Gap we take the anxiety out of IEP meetings by providing you support, education, and understanding of what is being presented to you. While schools may have your child’s best interest in mind, there is no better advocate than you, the parent. We are here to be a part of your team to see your child succeed.

Your rights as a parent are important

Finding out your child has been given an Autism diagnosis can feel like your world is turned upside down. At Bridge the Gap we help to provide you tools needed to navigate these changes. We provide in person, zoom and phone calls that fit your needs as a busy parent. We provide edification for what your next steps are when you receive a diagnosis, what to look for in an ABA company, and also what you can continue to do outside of services to help bolster your child's progress. We keep your child, rights and family in the forefront and give you the tools to be fully informed.
